The summer season may be behind us, but there are still plenty of fun autumn events to look forward to. Whether you love a fall nature hike, visit to the pumpkin patch or afternoon spent with friends, there’s an event in the GTA that’s perfect for you.

The Trinity Bellwoods Flea

Fall Events in the GTA - Belwoods Flea

When: Saturday, October 17 from 11am to 6pm

Where: Studio Bar, 824 Dundas Street West, Toronto.

The Flea heads indoors during the fall months for an added cozy factor. The Trinity Bellwoods Flea boasts over 35 local vendors — with clothing, artwork, food and fall-inspired cocktails — and free admission. On top of that, the event site notes 80s- and 90s-inspired music and a dog-friendly policy.


Harvest Wine Escapes

When: Saturday, October 17 from 10am to 7pm.

Where: Meet at iYellow Wine Cave, 243 Queen West, Toronto. Travel to Niagara region.

For those who’d rather escape the city for the day, there’s Harvest Wine Escapes. The all-day event hosted by iYellow Wine takes you and your friends on a tour through the Prince Edward County countryside, stopping at three wineries for tastings and a harvest lunch. Transportation out of and back to the city is provided.


 Halloween Howl

When: Sunday, October 25 from 1 to 3pm.

Where: Toronto Botanical Garden, 777 Lawrence Avenue East, Toronto.

Look no further for a spooky, fun kid-friendly event. The Halloween Howl encourages parents and kids to wear costumes and spend the day outdoors playing games and making crafts in the spirit of Halloween.


Halloween Bed Race

Fun Fall Events in the GTA - Halloween Bed Race

When: Sunday, October 26 from 10am to 1pm.

Where: Bloor Street and Jackson Avenue, Etobicoke.

This charity fundraiser is a great way to give back while celebrating the spirit of all things silly, kooky and Halloween-y. You and a team of six put on your costumes to push a bed around the streets of Etobicoke. All proceeds go to the Dorothy Ley Hospice. Registration required.
